There's Something About High Wycombe - Community Play
During October 2021 ago we were able to support and facilitate a Community Play at our Centre, in celebration of Black History Month. A play called “There is Something About High Wycombe” was performed on two consecutive nights to a wide audience who enjoyed the trials and tribulations of a young man who settle in High Wycombe from St Vincent & The Grenadines and was part of the Windrush Generation.
WMCO are very fortunate to be receiving funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to support the running costs of the Hilltop Community Centre which is vital during the current pandemic. The funding allows us the capacity to support local events and offer our venue as a place for the community to come together to enjoy performing arts and culture as well as a whole array of different activities. #ThanksToYou and #NationalLottery.
